It’s impossible to describe all the cultural and artistic treasures that can be enjoyed in the Upper Garda area. It has been both a home and a way station for various cultures and peoples from prehistoric times until the present day. Upper Garda offers prehistoric remnants, ancient buildings, centuries-old parks, and museums containing historical artefacts and accounts of the illustrious personalities who have loved and been inspired by Lake Garda, which they chose as a place to visit or make their home.

Here are a few historical, cultural and artistic attractions of interest: The Riva del Garda Municipal Museum, The Arboreto di Arco arboretum, Drena Castle, La Rocca (Arco Castle), Il Bastione (Tenno Castle), The War Museum and the Bell of the Fallen, Buonconsiglio Castle, the Medieval Quarter of Canale with the House of Artists and its historical commemorations. The Mart modern and contemporary art museum with its splendid exhibits, the Roman town of San Martino, and the villages of Ledro and Fiavé, which are built on piles
